A $2 million Powerball ticket was sold in Saddlebrooke, Arizona, while a $200,000 ticket was sold in Phoenix and a $50,000 ticket was sold in Sun City. The Powerball jackpot for the next drawing is estimated at $1.5 billion, the sixth-largest in history.
PHOENIX (AZFamily) While no one won the Powerball jackpot during Wednesday nights drawing some Arizona players are still winners! Arizona Lottery officials say one Powerball player scored a 2 million ticket in Saddlebrooke a small community north of Tucson. The ticket was purchased at Minit Mart located near Mountain Sage Drive and Saddlebrooke Boulevard. In Phoenix one player snagged a 200 000 ticket at a Frys Food Stores located near 44th Street and Thomas Road. Then in Sun City a 50 000 ticket was sold at Cynthias Fine Gifts Cards near 99th Avenue and Pleasant Valley Road. Wednesdays numbers were 25 33 53 62 with Powerball number 17.
