9. iOS Mobile App - Tracking and Permissions
Our iOS mobile app complies with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. We will ask for your permission before tracking your activity across apps and websites. The app may request the following device permissions: Camera (for scanning lottery tickets using OCR), Notifications (to alert you about drawings and winnings), and Photo Library (to save ticket images). You can manage these permissions in your device Settings at any time. The app uses Google AdMob for advertising, which may collect device identifiers and usage data as described in our Third-Party Advertising section above.
10. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Our service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. You must be at least 18 years old to use our lottery tracking features, as required by law for lottery participation. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information from our systems immediately. 11. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support@lotteryscoop.com. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain data for legal, regulatory, or security purposes. Anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for analytics and service improvement.
12. Security Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours of discovering the breach via email to your registered email address. The notification will include: the nature of the breach, the types of information affected, steps we are taking to address the breach, and recommended actions you should take to protect yourself. We maintain incident response procedures and work with cybersecurity professionals to minimize the risk and impact of any potential breaches.
