Four Arizonans won $50,000 each in the Powerball drawing on Saturday. The Powerball jackpot has grown to $1.6 billion, the fourth-largest in history, with the next drawing on Monday. Tickets are sold at over 3,000 locations across Arizona for $2 each.

ARIZONA NEWS BY KYLIE WERNER KTAR.com editor PHOENIX Christmas came early for four Arizona lottery players who are each 50 000 richer after Saturdays Powerball drawing. According to the Arizona Lottery the winning tickets were purchased at grocery stores gas stations and convenience stores across the Valley including The winning numbers drawn on Saturday night were 4 5 28 52 and 69 and the Powerball number was 20. In order to win each ticket needed to match four of the five numbers as well as the Powerball. Additionally a shopper at the Circle K near Bell Road and 56th Street purchased a ticket that won 20 000 in Fridays Mega Millions drawing. The winners have 180 days from the date the numbers were drawn to claim their winnings. Powerball drawings are held every week on Monday Wednesday and Saturday nights. The estimated jackpot for Mondays drawing has grown to 1.6 billion which would be the fourth-largest prize in Powerball history.
