According to the Arizona Lottery the winning ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven in Tucson at the intersection of Columbus and Speedway boulevards. The winning numbers in Saturday nights drawing were 18 21 40 53 and 60 and the Powerball was 23. To win the 50 000 the ticket needed to match four numbers and the Powerball. The odds of winning the prize are one in 913 129. Powerball is a nationwide game of chance with drawings on Mondays Wednesdays and Saturdays. The jackpot for Mondays drawing is an estimated 86 million. Tickets cost 2 each and can be purchased at more than 3 000 locations statewide. The winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their winnings. A Powerball ticket purchased from a gas station in Tucson also won 50 000 in last Wednesdays drawing.
