The Mega Millions jackpot of $900 million went unclaimed on November 11, increasing to $965 million for the next drawing on November 14. While no one won the grand prize, two players from Iowa and New York matched five numbers to win $3 million each, and another player from Arizona won $5 million.

Winning numbers were drawn in the eighth-largest Mega Millions drawing ever on Tuesday night Nov. 11 with a jackpot of 900 million up for grabs. The Mega Millions jackpot offered a one-time cash payment of 415.3 million if someone matched all six numbers. However Tuesday night's jackpot went unclaimed and increased to 965 million ahead of the next drawing scheduled for Friday Nov. 14. This year there have been four Mega Millions winners. The most recent winner from Virginia claimed a jackpot of 348 million on June 27. Before that an Ohio player won a 112 million jackpot on April 18. On March 25 a lucky ticket holder in Illinois took home 344 million and earlier in the year on Jan. 17 another winner in Arizona won 113 million.
