A Massachusetts lottery player won $25,000 a year for life by matching the first five numbers in the Lucky for Life drawing on December 17. Additionally, a $2 million Powerball prize and two $100,000 prizes were won or claimed in the state on the same day.
Someone in Massachusetts won 25 000 a year for life playing Lucky for Life on Wednesday night. The winning Lucky for Life numbers for the Dec. 17 drawing were 11 13 20 40 41 and Lucky Ball 7. The winning ticket sold in Massachusetts matched the first five numbers but not the Lucky Ball. The winning ticket was purchased in the Teaticket village of Falmouth on Cape Cod from a shop called Teaticket Market. Additionally someone won 2 million playing Powerball on Wednesday and two other 100 000 prizes were won or claimed. The winning Powerball ticket was sold at Winners Corner MA in North Andover. One of the 100 000 prizes was from the midday Mass Cash drawing on Wednesday. The winning numbers were 10 15 19 20 and 33. The ticket was sold at Reds Somerset in Somerset. The other was from a winning 100 000 Winter Winnings scratch ticket sold in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston from Palace Spa. Overall at least 498 prizes worth 600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Wednesday including 15 in Springfield 14 in Worcester and 52 in Boston.The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day.
