The winning ticket matched four of the five white balls and the gold Mega Ball, and had a multiplier of four times the base prize. The Mega Millions jackpot for the Friday drawing is estimated at $230 million.

The winning ticket was sold at the Circle K store on the southeast corner of Mountain View and Hayden roads in Scottsdale. The ticket matched four of the five white balls 16 40 56 64 66 and the gold Mega Ball of 4 to win the prize. Mega Millions tickets cost 5 each and can be purchased at more than 3 500 locations statewide. They each have a randomly generated multiplier of two three four five or 10 times. The winning ticket from Scottsdale had a multiplier of four times which bumped up the 10 000 base prize. Mega Millions is a multistate game of chance with drawings on Tuesday and Friday nights. No one won the jackpot on Tuesday meaning Fridays drawing will be for an estimated 230 million. If a ticket matches all five white balls and the Mega Ball it will be the first time in 2026 that the top Mega Millions prize will have been won.
