The South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) said the man wasnt planning to buy a Powerball ticket when he stopped by the QuikTrip on Paxville Highway in Manning and decided to take a chance. That ticket won him 150 000. Its crazy he said. Ive never won anything before. His ticket came within one number of winning the Powerball jackpot on Dec. 10. I was told it was big money he said. And that I would have to go to Colombia to get paid. SCEL said he waited until after the holidays to cash his ticket and chose to remain anonymous with plans to save the money. QuikTrip in Manning received a 1 500 commission for selling the ticket. The odds of matching four white balls and the red Powerball are 1 in 913 129.
