A $100,000 Powerball ticket was sold at a Phoenix, Arizona liquor store on December 8th. The winning numbers were drawn on Monday, but the massive $930 million jackpot went unclaimed. Arizona Lottery officials encourage players to double-check their tickets.

One lucky Valley resident just got the ultimate early holiday surprise. According to Arizona Lottery officials someone in Phoenix hit a 50 000 Powerball win in the Dec. 8 drawing and thanks to adding the Power Play that prize instantly doubled to a cool 100 000. The winning ticket was sold at Paradise Liquor Minimart located at 722 W. Southern Ave. in Phoenix. The winning numbers were rolled out Monday night with no one snagging the massive jackpot. Arizona Lottery officials encourage all players to double-check their tickets just in case lightning struck twice. Here is when the next Powerball drawing will be.
